LoreCards Terms of Service

1. The Service

LoreCards provides tools to create, share, collect, and discover themed cards and related content, including community features (for example topics, feeds, collections, and moderation workflows). Features may change over time. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

The Service may rely on third-party services to operate, including YouTube API Services for public video search, metadata, and embeds. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle related data.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, or use the Service only with supervision of a parent or guardian as required by applicable law.

3. Your content and license to us

You retain rights to content you submit ("Your Content"). You represent and warrant that you own Your Content or have all rights, licenses, and permissions needed to upload, generate, publish, and share it through the Service. Without limiting the foregoing, this includes any images, videos, audio, text, names, likenesses, trademarks, and other third-party materials you upload or submit (including in prompts, references, metadata, or generated outputs that incorporate such materials).

You grant LoreCards a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, publicly display, distribute, and create derivative works from Your Content solely to operate, improve, promote, and secure the Service — for example generating previews, resizing media, indexing for search, training safety classifiers where permitted, and showing Your Content in feeds, topic pages, collections, communities, and other discovery surfaces you use or enable.

You may remove certain of Your Content where the product allows; copies may persist in backups or logs for a limited period, and content others have reshared may remain visible in accordance with product behavior.

4. Generated and assisted outputs

Some features generate images or text for you. Outputs may be inaccurate or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and for how you use outputs. Do not rely on the Service for professional advice. You must not use generation features to create unlawful content or to infringe others' rights.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate law, third-party rights, or these Terms.
• Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the Service.
• Harass, threaten, dox, or discriminate against others.
• Post sexually explicit content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery; glorify violence; or promote illegal goods or services.
• Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or payment requirements.

We may investigate abuse, remove or restrict content, suspend accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement when required.

6. Credits, purchases, and virtual items

Paid features, credits, or virtual items may be governed by additional terms shown at purchase. Unless required by law, fees are generally non-refundable. Virtual items may not have real-world monetary value outside the Service.

Credits, drops, cards, collectibles, offers, trades, rewards, and other virtual items are digital platform features only. They are not currency, securities, investments, or redeemable for cash unless LoreCards explicitly states otherwise.

7. Intellectual property

LoreCards names, logos, UI, and software are owned by LoreCards or its licensors. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LORECARDS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LORECARDS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

10. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify LoreCards and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect users or the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. When we make material changes, we may require you to accept an updated version before continuing to use the Service. Continued use after acceptance constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, unless you are a consumer entitled to a mandatory local forum.

14. Copyright and takedown

If you believe content on LoreCards infringes your copyright or other rights, see our Contact page or email support@lorecards.app with:

• identification of the work claimed to be infringed;
• the URL or description of the allegedly infringing content;
• your contact information;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized; and
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate.

LoreCards may remove or restrict disputed content while reviewing claims.
